MTG Management Consultants provides highly specialized management and IT planning services to a variety of local and state labor, employment and workforce development, and public pension organizations across the United States and Canada. Labor and Industries

Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL)
Provided organizational strategic planning services and system feasibility and budget analysis. Assisted KDOL with alignment of technology solutions with overall state and departmental goals and objectives for unemployment insurance and workers' compensation.

Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD)
Developed a recommendation for a technology solution and a feasibility study to enhance the agency's labor exchange business.

Washington State Department of Labor and Industries
Conducted an analysis and managed the migration from the department's fixed and technology asset management systems to new asset systems.

Employment Security

KDOL and Kansas Department of Commerce
Conducted an independent third-party assessment of the America's Job Link Alliance (AJLA) program, a national information system support center providing software applications, hosting services, and training for state and national workforce development operations.

Washington State ESD
Assisted with an assessment of the department's One-Stop Operating System and developed an implementation plan for acquiring and tailoring an application that supported Washington's employment and training business operations and met federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998 reporting requirements.

Oregon Employment Department 
Provided quality assurance support on a major systems migration project that consisted of two components: migration of the Oregon Job Selection System application from the Department of Human Services mainframe data center to a client/server environment, and implementation of the statewide client/server network infrastructure.

Public Pension and Retirement Systems

District of Columbia Retirement Board Organizational Assessment and Technology Planning
Developed a five-year IT strategic plan to transform DCRB’s technical environment to better service business operations. Assessed the current environment, identified key business and strategic issues, developed future concept of operations, and prepared an IT tactical plan for implementing a full service defined benefit public pension information system within the District. 

City of Milwaukee Employees' Retirement System (CMERS)
Provided project management suport in the final stage of a benefits administration system implementation. Established a project management office, provided change management, led system and user acceptance testing, and coordinated implementation and deployment activities.

Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS)
Provided system migration support for replacing a benefits administration system. Services included evaluation of the existing IT project portfolio, IT strategic planning, business process documentation, feasibility analysis, procurement management, and project management and oversight.

Washington State Department of Retirement Systems
Assisted in assessing the feasibilty and plan for migration of the state's deferred compensation record-keeping system (an IRS 457 plan) from a self-administered system maintained by the Department of Personnel to a third-party record-keeper.
